A new GTA 6 character and the actor who will be playing him has been been accidentally leaked.
We are just days away from pre-orders going live but unofficial news is trickling out. Now we are able to add a new character and actor to the cast of GTA VI.
As first spotted by mp1st, actor Brett Gipson has Grand Theft Auto 6 listed on his résumé. Gipson has a big year coming up. The résumé states he’ll be Sabretooth in Insomniac Games and Marvel’s Wolverine Which drops before GTA VI. Most recently he played parts in Borderlands 4 and the Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 show.
It also notes that he’ll be playing a supporting role as “Ellis” in Rockstar’s Vice City-based title. It’s unclear if Brett will be a significant supporting character or just simply involved with side missions.
It’s unclear if the mistake was made by the actor himself or a manager of sorts. It would be most likely done on the representative’s side. Rockstar won’t be too pleased to have a leak occur in this way though.
This isn’t the first time we’ve had actors have their involvement with Grand Theft Auto VI be revealed in this fashion. We would expect this piece of information to be removed from the résumé swiftly much like others have.
Identities for the main Grand Theft Auto VI cast still have not been officially confirmed by Rockstar. It’ll be interesting to see how Rockstar decide to reveal their cast or if we have to wait until the game comes out and see the credits.
